Travelling through Australia
[report].au.environment.nature.travelling.[/report]
hey guys!
here we are again... after a long time, public internet is so much more expensiv in Australia then in Indonesia

We arrived in Darwin in north Australia already at the 24th October, coming from Bali (where Andreas will give you a report in a few momens) and have been there, seeking for work, for nearly a week.
Because we only looking for work for 2 weeks, the employers don't want us
so we startet our "adventure tour" to the red center earlier then planned
We jumped on a bus and did the ~1500km tour to Alice Springs in 3 days, there we did the "tourist" tour to the world famous Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon and so on... The tour was really cool (look at the pictures!!
) and after that we stayed in alice for a few days again, until two friends of us told us that they rented a car and are leaving the next day, and asked us to join them. Thats what we did, so we are in ADELAIDE know!!I'm a bit sorry because all that happend so fast that i had no chance to contact solarnet members down here
please forgive me!! (or join me for a drink tonight) tomorrow we want to be on our way to melbourne already...There isn't much to show you in Darwin
... so this is Darwin...We visited the reptile center of Darwin, was really interesting!
This is already in the red center, Kata Tjuta is a famous rock formation near the Ayers Rock
Devils Marble is where vulcanic stones are lying around like toys of ginats in the middle of the desert
Devils marble
The wonderful Uluru - Ayers Rock at sunrise, we've been a bit unlucky, cause exactly at the time when we are in the australian DESERT it was raining

the other side of the Rock, you can see this if your doing the ground walk all around. You are not allowed to take photos of all parts of the rock, some of them are holy aboriginal places.
The "Thorny Devil" is a completly non dangerous australian lizard, even if it looks like a monster

This was our Dinner... Its traditional food in the desert, you can dig them out with sticks and cook them in the ash of the fire or eat them roh

Thats it ! hope you enjoyed the pictures!
greetings from Australia to the whole world!
