hey folks, here we are again with a report from BOLIVIA! We arrived a few days ago, coming from iquique in chile by bus. We are staying in the city of Oruro, where one of the greatest carnevals in southamerica takes place (sry brazilian members, but oruro is not bad , try to beat it by showing pictures from rio)!
Since thursday, there is a big party anywhere! I read before in some reports the saying "big paty in the streets" and now i know what that means! All the city is awake, there are musicians walking randomly throught the streets, there is dancing everywhere, its just great!

And Yesterday, there was the main celebration day. A big parade goes throught the streets, and end in the main cathedral. Oruro was a mining town, and in the first place, the parade was for praising the old god of the mountain, to protect the miners, after the spanish, and christian, influence, it got mixed with the european kind of karneval.

We`ve been out until 7am yesterday night, to see the big fireworks, and the great costums, and had a big party!

Next for us is the biggest salt lake in the world, the salar de uyuni, and the old silver mining city of potusi, wich is said to make spain as rich as it was.
