Valparaiso, Chiles coast
[report].cl.city life.travelling.[/report]
Here are, like promised, finally the pictures of valparaiso, wich is close to the city where rodrigo studies, viņa de mar. We`ve been there a few days ago, and really loved it! The city is close to perfect beaches in viņa, and great nightlife in valparaiso. Its only a 1.5 hour bus drive from santiago.
The setting of the town is really perfekt, it is on some hills that nearly reach the sea, so that you have a wonderful panorama look from nealy every place!
We did a walking tour throught the city, cant even say where we`ve been, i guess nearly everywhere
Its a lot of up and down, and some times its very steepIn the city there are a lot of "ascensors" wich bring you up to higher levels (sry, havn`t got a nice pic so took it fromm google
)
another view over the bay
The City is full of art, its so nice to walk around in the streets and just look at some of those good graffitis, here its a mosaik
and a graffiti
They`ve got elektronic buses in the downtown, really cool!
La plaza de armas, like rodrigo said before, every town got one
The port of the city is one of the most important in the whole countrie, even the chilenese marine is based here (see the backround)
Hope you enjoyed the pictures, our next destination is Bolivia, lets see how it looks there! (salar de uyuni, the biggest salt plane in the world! we are excited
