Role of Women in your country

i decided (new years resolution) i won't date anyone again...ever.

most guys are intimidated by my independence...i know sounds funny but is just that most women are..weird here, passive, quiet, femenine, i've been told by many friends that  if i want to get married i should visit Spain, where guys let their girlfriends pick up the tab. i find this hilarious.

women here fight to earn the same as guys (totally fair)  but still expect the guys to take them out and pay, honestly most women here see themselves as merchandise and are looking for a high bidder

For my thesis i'm working on a workshop to prevent violence in relationships among kids 18- 22, particularly control and codepedence,  but girls state they "just love them sooooo much"

This is one of the topics that I have always taked with a lot people in special with women.

I don't understand why, many people think about the idea that WOMEN AND MEN are equal, that is false, we are different....

There are not only biological differences, but phychological and emotional too.

So I think we shouldn't try to do the same kinda of things everymoment to be confortable each other.

I do agree, with everybody who thinks what we MUST HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS TO DO EVERYTHING THAT WE WANT and that could be beneficial for us ALWAYS, having in mind that we are different. We men can't be pregnant, our children wont grown up inside us, we cant feet em with our u know what...

I have seen and heard a lot of ladies asking for the same rights, and I agree with em. But that also include responsabilities and the fact that they lost some "benefits" i also agree about that.

for example is very common to see (at least in my city, guayaquil Ecuador) a lot of men what wake up when a girl takes on the bus and stand besides them.
So should the boy wake up or shouldn't he?
I think that is his own decision and that wouldn't be taken coz that is a girl beside him. I'd stay set down
Another example

That girl is a pregnant or an old woman, what should he do?
I think that is his own decision, but both woman has not the same conditions that him and should be protected for not only men but women too. I would give my set to both of em.

and the last example

that person is not a woman but a man? an old man? just a boy? what should he do? or what should A WOMAN do?


All this stuff is becuase I think that women are also human beings as men and we should have the same rights and obligations, but we cant forget that we are not kinda diferent, and those differences make the difference.

By the way, I'm not machista. I have three sisters and a mom, and two nices... And i love em a lot. And I have grown up feeling those diffences between women and men.

I don't agree about that women must fight to earn anything, neither men. We should work together coz we want the same kind of things, sometimes we forget that we both are being humans, and we cannot change it, there is not any difference into that... we should start avoiding to use words like women or men and just say we...

Women are everyday getting higher positions into the Brazilian society, I could assure you that, the old picture of the domestic woman, that cooks and take cares of children is leaving place for a competitive character that is showing us (men) that we must give them the right value they have...  not only our mothers and wives, but also heads of families and huge corporations

I feel sad that there are still many men who have no respect to women in some Asian countries such as Thailand. Women are dominated by men.

According to the research about the social status of women from The United Nations, We rank 19th in the world, the second place in Asia.

Most of women work long hour here as men, so men also share housework and look after children. People give many chances to women, but women who work like cleaners and waitresses still get lower paid than men. And many of men are managers.

Actually, I think the only true differences between men and women are biological. Everything else is a product of society and culture.

I really don't like it when people try to force a gender onto babies or even toddlers. I heard of parents (mostly the fathers) getting angry if their toddler boy wanted to play with dolls, thinking it would "feminize him". It's so stupid. Kids should be free to explore their gender without influence.

I feel very strongly about that...

Also, there are still jobs in the US where women are paid less. It's not entirely equal. How many female CEO's are there? Not many.

Also, in Japan my sister eventually decided she would have to leave because she was getting paid a lot less (as a teacher of English) than her male coworkers who were doing the same exact job as her. It's still pretty bad in Japan that way.

In US women are mostly paid less because we leave more often to start a family and or take care of our kids - doctors appointments, sick kid etc... and so it makes sense if we are there less that we would get paid less same as if two men had the same job and one had to miss more work and thus less productive the other one would get a higher pay and even more raises. That is why more women choose to not have a fmaily now or that the fathers become stay at home dads so the mom can consentrate on work - everything is a trade off and we each individually have to weigh risk verse reward

In Argentina womans can do anything they want.

but they have to be careful because some mans here doesn´t respect womans and use them as objects. And other womans abuse of their feminity to reach goals...

but womans with education are the same as any man with education. so they can decide the road to follow

that's what i find really unfair, i mean society demands women to stay at home, have kids and take care of them, but then pay them less for doing so! And it is society who makes it so hard to combine family and a job for women... although this has changed in many countries

It just seems like a lose-lose situation about it. At least here in Mex women who care so much about their career and are single/childless in their 30's, are very critized, seen as merely spinsters.

Plus, society don't take in consideration their value as humans or their work, cause they have not fulfilled their "innate duty" of creating a family.

I really thing that there is a nice equality in Poland and i really hate feminism in Poland . They claimed that men should also give milk from breast to his kids (it is possible if men eat special hormones...). And the equality should be TOTAL. I vote totally no for this . There is no total equality between two diffrent males why there should be absolute equality between male and female. We must have conciousnes about the diffrences in both psychology area and phisical area. This is the only way to achieve harmony NOT Ultimate equality .

Do you have a source on feminists in Poland advocating for men to take hormones so they can produce breast milk? Seems a little off the wall. 

Personally, I'm all for the day when we can just grow babies in labs and pick them up 9 months later, or whenever. That way, there's not this unequal bonding thing that happens when a woman is pregnant... I always thought that was a little unfair. The father doesn't get to bond until after the birth.

Thats the nature belevie me this is a right plan . Becouse in this way child can experience first love totally without conditions from mother and then love with conditions from father. Interrupting in this mechanism will cause end of our race
